Who is Plexus and how long have they been around?

Plexus Installations has been selling and servicing telephone systems for over fifteen years, and has achieved an enviable reputation of providing excellent service with quality products. We are proven and are here to support you in the long term.

What are the advantages of renting a Telephone System as part of a Telstra package?

The biggest advantage is zero upfront capital costs leaving you with minimal impact on your cash flow and receiving the tax benefit of renting business equipment. You will also reap the benefits of discounted calls and therefore reducing your overall telephone bill.

Can I upgrade the equipment during the rental term?

Yes, you can upgrade or add equipment at any time during the term and adjust the rental agreement.

What are my options at the end of the rental term?

You have several options:

  • Purchase the equipment at a fair market value from the finance company
  • Upgrade to the latest technology using another Plexus Phone System Package
  • Continue to rent the equipment at a reduced rate
  • Refinance the equipment for another agreed term

When do I need to decide which option to take?

You should decide which option to take at least 6 months before the end of the rental term

When does my direct debit commence?

The direct debit will begin once the finance company settles your account with Plexus. This will be shortly after the installation of your telephone system is completed and a Delivery Acknowledgement (DA) is signed.

Will I have any disruption to my telephone services when I change to Plexus?

There is usually no disruption to your services

Can I keep my phone numbers when I change to Plexus?

Yes, your numbers remain the same

What happens if there are line faults, who is responsible?

The carrier that owns your lines is responsible for line faults. In most cases the carrier is Telstra. You can contact Plexus and we can follow up these faults for you or log the fault on your behalf

Will I still get an invoice from Telstra?

Yes, if your lines are currently with Telstra you will continue to receive an invoice from Telstra for your line rental.  If you purchase a Telstra Business Telephone System you will receive an invoice from Telstra showing your monthly call charges as well as your equipment charges - all on one bill.
