Station Key Programming

STATION KEY PROGRAMMING (Samsung)

 

Use this procedure to allocate functions to your programmable keys. There will be 8, 12, 24 or more keys available depending on the type of handset installed.

 

To Program Keys:

  1. With the handset down, Press TRSF then dial 200
  2. Enter password 1234
  3. Screen will display “Disable”, Press Volume + to change Disable to Enable.
  4. Press SPEAKER button
  5. With the handset down, dial 722
  6. Use “Volume Up Down” to select correct station number or type station number.
  7. Bottom line of display will show 01:CALL1 > (or similar).
    Ensure top line lists the CORRECT EXTENSION NUMBER!!!
  8. Locate the 3 soft keys just below the LCD screen (3 unlabelled buttons)
  9. Press the Left Hand Soft Key – if necessary – to Move the Cursor to below 01 as detailed in step 7
  10. Use the UP Volume key to scroll to the key number you wish to change, or dial the key number.
  11. Keys are numbered starting from the top-left-hand key. Ie A phone with 2 columns of 12 keys is numbered 1-12 top-to-bottom left column, then 13-24 top to bottom right column
  12. When the correct key is displayed, Press the Right Hand Soft Key to move the cursor to the right of the “>” (arrow) as shown in step 7.
  13. Use the Volume + key to scroll through available settings for this key. Hint: If you wish to use a setting such as “ZZX”, press the ‘9’ key 4 times to jump to “Z” then use the volume button to scroll.
  14. Commonly used settings include… a. DS = Extension Button. Press to call ext. Lights when ext in use
    b. CALL = Lights to show which line is in use for incoming or outgoing call
    c. SPD = Speed Dial 00-09 (personal) or 500-599 (system)
    d. DIR = Directory Button. Displays PERSonal SYStem & STN(station)

  15. When you have selected the correct command, Press the Right Hand Soft Key to move the cursor to the right of the new command. Enter the correct data to support this command. Eg. If you select DS, enter the ext number.
  16. Press TRSF to save changes and exit programming
