Install/Remove a Corded Headset

 

INSTALLING YOUR HEADSET - SAMSUNG TELEPHONE SYSTEM

 

CAUTION: PLEASE TAKE CARE WHEN USING THE FOLLOWING PROCEDURES. FAILURE TO SELECT THE CORRECT SETTING OR VALUE COULD IMPACT YOUR TELEPHONE SYSTEM 

NOTE: IF THIS HEADSET REPLACES AN EXISTING HEADSET, THIS PROCEDURE WILL PROBABLY NOT BE REQUIRED. PLEASE TEST HEADSET FUNCTION BEFORE PROCEEDING.

 

DISPLAY PHONE

 

  1. Perform each step on the telephone where the headset is to be installed. Repeat procedure for all telephones requiring a headset.
  2. Press the TRSF key
  3. Dial 110
  4. Press the VOLUME + key until “HEADSET USE OFF” is displayed
  5. Locate the 3 soft-keys (blank buttons) located just below the display screen
  6. Press the FAR-RIGHT soft-key, cursor will appear below the word OFF.
  7. Press the VOLUME + key, OFF will change to ON
  8. Press TRSF to save change and exit programming
  9. Connect your headset and switch (if supplied)

To Turn Headset mode off. Perform same as above except change setting to OFF in step7.

NON DISPLAY PHONE

 

  1. Perform each step on the telephone where the headset is to be installed. Repeat procedure for all telephones requiring a headset.
  2. Press the TRSF key
  3. Dial 110
  4. Dial 21 to turn Headset mode ON
    a. Dial 20 to turn Headset mode OFF
  5. Press TRSF to save change and exit programming
  6. Connect your headset and switch (if supplied)

 

  • To answer incoming calls, press the ANS/RLS key
  • To end a call, press the ANS/RLS key
  • Note that the telephone speaker will not operate when in Headset mode. Music on hold can be heard through the headset only.
