Enter/ Alter System Speed Dials

 

SYSTEM DIAL NUMBERS (Samsung)

 

You have 200 system speed dial numbers available, they are numbered 500 - 699
Before adding a new System Speed dial, it is a good idea to browse current entries to locate a free speed number (500-699)

Individual station users can program their own numbers but in cases where this is not practical, this program allows a System Administrator to view or change any station's speed dial numbers. The station speed dial codes are 00 - 19. Each station begins with 10 numbers (00 - 09) and can be assigned more in blocks of 10 (up to a maximum of 50 numbers).
Each speed dial number consists of a line access code and the telephone number to be dialled. The access code can be any line group, individual line, station group or individual extension. The speed dial number can be up to 18 characters long including #, FLASH and PAUSE. PROGRAM KEYS

When you are entering a speed dial number, there are some special keys that you will need to use. These are the last 6 programmable keys of the right hand row are known as A, B, C, D, E and F and are defined below.

  • TOP RIGHT HAND CORNER CURSOR- Used to adjust cursor on display screen
  • UP & DOWN VOLUME KEY- Used to scroll up and down.
  • KEYPAD - Used to enter number.
  • HOLD - Press to clear entry.

 

 

To Program Numbers:

  1. With the handset down, Press TRSF then dial 200
  2. Enter password 1234
  3. Screen will display “Disable”, Press Volume + to change Disable to Enable.
  4. Press SPEAKER button
  5. With the handset down, dial 705
  6. Dial a speed number between 500-699 (eg 505)
  7. Dial 0 (outside line access)
  8. Dial the telephone number you wish to program
  9. Press TRSF

 

To Program Names:

  1. With the handset down, Press TRSF then 706
  2. Dial the speed dial number (500-699) that requires a name (eg 505)
  3. Enter the name using the number keys (same as SMS)
    a. If you make a mistake, HOLD will delete all letters
    b. For a ‘space’, press 1
  4. Press TRSF to save and exit

 

To Dial a Personal Speed Dial:

  1. Press the Memory button or dial 16
  2. Dial the three digit speed dial number (500-699)
    OR
  3. Press the DIR button and browse through stored entries.
