Divert A Phone Number to an External Number - PSTN Lines Only
EXTERNAL DIVERSION (Samsung)
Which procedure do I use?
If you can select your lines individually using line keys, use procedure #1.
If you dial ‘0’ for an outside line and cannot select lines individually, use procedure #2.
Procedure 1. Establish Diversion
- Select Line 1 and obtain an outside dial tone
- Dial * 2 1 number to divert to #
- Repeat the above for all lines attached to your system
Procedure 1. Cancel Diversion
- Select Line 1 and obtain an outside dial tone
- Dial # 2 1 #
- Repeat the above for all lines attached to your system
Procedure 2. Establish Diversion
- Dial 701 (you should receive a dial tone)
- Dial * 2 1 number to divert to #
- Hang Up
- Repeat the above using 702 then 703 etc until you do not receive a dial tone.
Procedure 2. Cancel Diversion
- Dial 701 (you should receive a dial tone)
- Dial # 2 1 #
- Hang Up
- Repeat the above using 702 then 703 etc until you do not receive a dial tone.
