Procedure for Multi-Party conference calls

PROCEDURE FOR MULTI PARTY CONFERENCE CALLS ON SAMSUNG TELEPHONE SYSTEM

You may conference five parties (you and four other parties) in any combination of outside lines and internal stations in any order.

  • While you are engaged in a conversation, press hookflash or recall (depending on phone type), receive transfer tone and dial 46. you will now receive conference tone.
  • Make another call, either intercom or outside. After the called party answers, press hookflash/recall and receive conference.
  • Continue this process until you have dialed all of your desired parties.
  • After your final party has answered (maximum of four), press hookflash/recall and dial 46.

NOTE: To leave the conference, simply hang up. Control will be passed to the first internal station that was added. If you are the only internal station and you wish to leave the outside parties in a conference, press hookflash/recall and dial your own station number. The outside lines will be released automatically when the parties hang-up.
